Conferences and scientific meetings play an important role in advancing research, clinical practice, and public health efforts related to sexually transmitted infections. Throughout the year, researchers, clinicians, and public health professionals gather at meetings around the world to share new findings, discuss emerging challenges, and build collaborations across the field.
ASTDA supports and participates in many of these gatherings. Some years the association hosts its own conference, while in other years ASTDA members contribute to major international and interdisciplinary meetings focused on STI prevention, treatment, and research.

The STI Prevention Conference brings together researchers, clinicians, and public health professionals focused on advancing the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of sexually transmitted infections. The meeting provides a forum for presenting new research, sharing public health strategies, and strengthening collaboration across the STI field.
